Méchante Cabane is a private estate in the Laurentides of Québec: 1,570 hectares of forest, three lakes, and a single lakefront residence booked one group at a time, no neighbours and nothing else in sight. We shot it as an escape that never gives up its comfort, from the floatplane touching down to the sauna and the fire waiting inside. Every frame carries the feeling the place is built on: wild, private, and quietly refined.
